Shamanism

Important aspects of Shamanism were Shamanic Healing and Journeying. The Shaman conveyed the knowledge of how to heal by retrieving lost soul essence; as well as, what stones, herbs or other sacred tools were needed to become whole.

The Shaman knew how to journey and communicate with other spirits in this and other dimensions through telepathy or empathy. A Shaman also knew how to modulate energy signature frequencies so that one could walk between worlds.

Upon returning the Shaman knew how to transmit and teach healing knowledge to others. If someone felt that they were not the same after some physical or emotional trauma, they had experienced the soul loss of life force, of psychic or spiritual energies.

The part of them that remembered the trauma had splintered off and needed to be retrieved. When a relationship ended, often one or both of the partners took a piece of the other person with them if they had trouble letting go.

Soul loss did not always have to be dramatic or traumatic. Soul Loss could happen because a person lacked discipline, so that little by little, like a slow air leak or a dripping faucet, they lost soul essence.

Another person could steal an individual's vital energy without their being consciously aware of it because they were immersed in the mire of a distressing relationship. There could also be spiritual parasites in a person's energy field which the shaman could see as insects or dark energy clouds that needed to be removed.

Soul essence return was a kind of rebirth facilitated by Shamanic counseling and healing. Shamanic counseling was the journey a person undertook with a Shaman and the help of their Power Animals and Spirit Guides to reconnect and restore wholeness and wellness to their soul.

It involved metamorphic change and transmutative healing of mind, body and spirit. The Shaman helped by resolving  issues, answering questions, solving problems, providing personal power remedies and rejuvenating soul essence.

An individual person, rather than a group or clan, formed close relationships with the spirit of one or more Power Animals who instruct, protect and guide the individual.

As the unique bond between the person and their Power Animal continued to grow the person often took on the spiritual attributes associated with that Power Animal to the point where the Power Animal almost became an alter ego.

Power animals could appear as a person performed routine daily activities or in a dream when they slept. Each time that they entered a person's life with a sacred communication, it was a blessing from Spirit.

Guardian Spirits or Spirit Guides were Numinous beings that had a personal relationship with or interest in a person, wanting to help them with their personal visionquest to fulfill their higher purpose and to guide them with answers to their spoken and unspoken questions. Next Back
