I felt the Fairies wanted me to pick the mushroom and bring it inside to place inside their special space; yet, I hesitated to do so since my proclivity was and is to let wild gardens and Nature grow and blossom unimpeded by my personal concepts of function, purpose or orderliness. That's when the Gray Squirrel Rauwynne came up to me with the mushroom between her paws and placed it at my feet. I thanked her, brought it inside and tenderly placed it on a soft beige cotton washcloth inside the Fairies indoor retreat. When spring came the Fairies told me telepathically that they were unhappy with the mushroom now that it was all dried up and shriveled, since fresh growth and blossoming were in the air. So I replied that if they created another mushroom that I would be happy to pick it and bring it inside to replace the dried out one. The very next morning when I went out to feed the birds there was a new large mushroom in the grass. I had just plucked it when the gray squirrel Rauwynne appeared. I told her I was taking it inside for the Fairies special space. She nodded and sort of danced, skipped and scampered away. As mentioned earlier, individual Animal Totems belong to group consciousness life streams. They also have soul spirits as unique as each snowflake that falls earthward from the clouds above. Animals are spiritual beings who like humans are also learning and growing over evolutionary timelines. The grey squirrel Rauwynne had moved beyond basic survival and belongingness needs to become more self actualized as an emissary for the Fairies. In that respect she was similar to the Heathen World Tree red squirrel Animal Totem Ratatoskr. Such development of Squirrelishness or squirrel life stream consciousness along a progressive evolutionary continuum by the gray squirrel Rauwynne was also indicative of not only individual sentience but also of an ongoing personal spiritual identity from squirrel embodiment to squirrel embodiment or from lifetime to lifetime.
So on your Life Spiral Journey through your Days and Ways, be on the lookout for "Encounters of an Animal Totem Kind". Perhaps that Cardinal who repeatedly tapped on your window awhile back had a spirit message for you. Maybe that pesky Palmetto Bug was trying to alert you to toxins or other survival issues in your environment. The next time a Power Animal tries to get your attention be sure to stop, look and listen. Over the years, Animal Totems have been good friends and companions along the way, communing with me, watching over me; and, letting me know that they cared and that they shared my concerns for the evolution of the planet and all sentient lifestreams. They are as much a constant in my life as humans and the ever present angels. We talk to each other vocally and telepathically and I thank them daily for being such a blessing in my life. If the Animal Totems know that you honor and respect them, they will become a constant in your life as well, either in daily encounters or in your Dreaming. Animal Totems feel intense emotions and often experience profound sadness when humans treat them unkindly or cruelly. This is registered in the morphic field of their group consciousness; as well as, their personal consciousness. When I attune to the Horse life stream, for instance, I feel such deep heart pain and abiding grief over the abuse they have undergone at the hands of their often harsh and callous caretakers, along with the visual etheric recordings of those horrific incidents, that I have to quickly withdraw from their group morphic field. Since they have so many predators, some of the horses in the herd remain standing and keep watch while the other horses lie down to sleep.
Since it is the blunt
truth, Horse Speak from Horses (like the Horses on Bianditz mountain in Navarre,
Spain with the Aiako mountains behind them shown in the picture above) is not always pleasant to listen to, especially for
those sensitive to criticism. Still such beautiful friendly Animal Totems who have served
humans so faithfully and companionably for so long deserve to be heard and
respected.
