Native American Sacred Hoop Visionquest
Visionquests and Power Animal Totems
Elders are men and
women, regardless of age, who have been infused with Wisdom and other spiritual
gifts from the Great Spirit.
Visionquests are usually

going off into a wilderness area in quest of both a vision that will show them
their life's walk.
Those on a Visionquest also seek a guardian spirit who will support them and help them
develop throughout their lifetime.
