Deities as Living Legends

For a long time, the public has been aware of the presence of beings on the planet of human lifewave lineage who existed at a more rarified or perfected state of beingness than the average person.

Most past cultures called them goddesses, gods, masters, buddhas, bodhisattvas, saints, sages, mages, and wizards. In many ways they were similar to humanity except for various powers, abilities, or skills they possessed, as well as, long life or virtual immortality.

Many of them were once just like the average, run of the mill, person until one day they decided to seek knowledge or truth or happiness or well-being which led them eventually to training with various esoteric mystery schools or to tutelage styles of learning under the auspices of some master or another.

The prevailing mythos and mythology throughout the ages on this planet usually included information about the lives and journeys of more evolved, virtually immortal humans who were revered as goddesses and gods.

The narrative tales, often told by storytellers around hearths or campfires, sometimes involved magic, allegories, parables, patternings, and sacred mystical symbology that expressed the traditions of the peoples of many ancient Cultures.

Besides lore about deities there were also legends about heroes, heroines, nature spirits, fairies, and mythical beasts.
