The Bear has captivated the
public for a long time. Teddy Bears are favorite toys for children. The
escapades of Pooh Bear are perennial favorites. Smokey the Bear told us how to
prevent forest fires. Grizzly Bears, Panda Bears, and Polar Bears all intrigue
us. The story about Goldilocks and the Three Bears with Papa Bear, Mama Bear,
and Baby Bear with their beds and bowls of porridge makes what is still

If you had asked any of the
ancient Druidic Celts who they were or what they were called, they would have
responded with the name of their tribe; rather than, any of the names (like
Galatac, Keltoi, or Celtac) given to them by classical Mediterranean writers.
The Celts belonged to complex and variegated social groupings that ranged from
large, loose confederations of tribes to small, compact tribal units. Although
they had a written language, the Celts rarely used it, preferring instead to
pass on their beliefs, knowledge, and wisdom through the time honored method of
their oral traditions...

of a kingdom of living beings". Animals are more than totems or power allies to
humanity. They have been good friends watching over them, communing with them,

planet and all sentient lifestreams. There are many day to day opportunities for
direct experience and communion with them. They are as much a constant in
everyone's daily life as other humans and the ever present angels. The animals
