Minerva Gestinanna, the consummate spiritual warrior goddess of intellect and invention, was the Roman goddess Minerva, the Etruscan goddess Menrva, the Greek goddess Athena, and the Mesopotamian Sumerian goddess Gestinanna. She was called "Oft Fęted Youthful Dream Interpreter", "Owl Eyed Olive Tree Gardener", and "Shapeshifting Wisdom Weaver Goddess". As Gestinanna (Geštin-Ana), she was the Mesopotamian Sumerian heavenly grapevine goddess. The grim intensity of her determination to rescue her brother Dumuzi (Thoth) when he was taken to the underworld by Mesopotamian demons, enhanced her prowess as a protectress of struggling heroes. As Minerva (Minerva Medica, Menrva), she was the Roman crafts, peace, warrior, and wisdom goddess who had previously been the Etruscan goddess Menrva. Revered from about 400 BCE - 400 ACE, Minerva was mentioned in the Virgil "Aeneid". The tutelary goddess of Rome, the "Minervalia" and "Quinquatria" yearly festivals were held in her honor. As Athena (Athene, Pallas Athenae), she was a Greek domestic crafts, shipbuilding, spinning, warrior, and wisdom goddess. The protectress of many Greek cities, she was depicted on iconography, the Parthenon frieze, and sculptures. Revered from around 800 BCE - 400 ACE, Athena was mentioned in the Homer "Iliad", "Odyssey", and Hesiod "Theogony", "Hymn to Pallas Athena". She was venerated at the Athens Parthenon, as well as, sanctuaries in Argos, Gortyn, Ilion, Larisa, Lindos, and Sparta. The city of Athens was named after her in honor of her steadfast support as a defender of civil law and a guardian of justice. Minerva Gestinanna was also a tall and beautiful storyteller goddess of arts, literature, and physicians. The crow, gazelle, olive tree, owl, and snake were sacred to her. Her symbols were a breastplate and a shield. A protector of sheep, Minerva Gestinanna was one of the Atlantean Orion Achievers who mentored and fiercely defended the descendants of the Atlantean Orion Achievers. The eager intensity of the willingness of her soulmate husband Ares to be militarily proactive in protecting the descendants of the Atlantean Orion Achievers during his sojourns in Greece, especially against dark wizardry, caused the Greek historians of milder demeanor and different temperment to portray him as overly bellicose and ferocious in temperment. Because of these writings, there were no sanctuaries that honored Ares until the Romans dedicated a temple in the Agora in Athens to him. This is the reason why he goes by the name Mars Shamash rather than Mars Ares at this time.
This erroneous and distorted
characterization of her husband soulmate, as well as, their heartfelt loving
relationship with each other, is why Minerva Gestinanna goes by that name rather
than Minerva Athena at this time.
