Belisama Mamaquilla (Mama Quilla, Belyan, Belide, Bella, Isabella) was known as "The Radiant Brilliant One", "The Morning and Evening Star", "The Sacred Tree", "The Noble and Perfect Lady", and "She of the Beauteous and Inspirational Smile". A Pan-Celtic, Continental, and Gaulish light goddess of crafts, creeks, fire, the forge, rivers, and song smiths, she was revered under many different names in many different places. A bright source of Awen for poets asking for an insightful and encouraging muse, Belisama also answered the prayerful requests of those seeking the heartening lilt of her laughter blessing their dreams, or, the softly comforting flames of her burning well of ancient wisdom warming up their cauldron of understanding until it boiled with aromatic knowledge.
She was also the Inca
Precolumbian, South American, mother moon goddess, Mamaquilla (Mama Quilla) who
helped to regulate time and the Inca Festival Calendar. The South American
Indians were very protective of their mother goddess. Considering an eclipse of
the moon to be perilous time when a mountain lion or snake tried to consume the
Divine Feminine energies, they performed noisy rituals in an effort to scare the
marauder away.
The Sacred Site focal point of Hierarch Belisama Mamaquilla and the Fifth Ray of Rainbow Healing is Paradise Cove, which is located in Malibu in Western Los Angeles County, California, U.S.A. Once home to the Chumash Native Americans who called the area "Humaliwo" meaning "The Surf Sounds Loudly", the beachfront community of Malibu encompasses a 27 miles (43.5 kilometers) long stretch of the Pacific Ocean coastline. Malibu is roughly bounded by the Santa Monica Mountains to the North, Topanga Canyon to the East, the Pacific Ocean to the South, and Ventura County to the West. Noted for its warm sandy beaches; as well as, its celebrity and entertainment industry homes which are located a short distance from the Pacific Coast Highway, there are signs around the city declaring that Malibu is comprised of "27 miles of scenic beauty." There is also a popular Malibu license plate frame stating "Malibu: A Way of Life". Neighboring beaches and parks include Malibu Creek State Park, Malibu State Beach, Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, Surfrider Beach, Topanga Beach, and Zuma Beach.
