The universal life force enters our aura through the crown chakra and is downstepped by the chakras in turn, each of which transforms the energy to be used for the functions its oversees. When the kundalini is aroused it rises up the chakra system through the sushumna. There are seven major chakras or energy wheels which have a different number of spokes or petals and hundreds of minor chakras. These centers of focus for our emotional and spiritual energies whirl at varying rates of speed. The etheric, astral, and mental layers of the human aura each have these seven major energy centers but it is the etheric centers that are most closely connected to the health of the physical body. The chakras are connected to each other through channels of subtle energy, the nadis. The main channel is the sushumna which starts at the base of the spine and rises to base of the brain. All of the chakras need to be balanced, open, bright, cleanly spinning, and energized. When they become cloudy, sluggish, damaged, and blocked (with the muddy residual energy of our habits, beliefs, desires, thoughts, fears, and feelings), our physical and emotional health is affected and illness can occur. Clairvoyants report that illness often manifests in the aura and the chakras months and sometimes years before they manifest in the physical body.

The resonant organizing power of crystals and stones in any form, including raw, faceted, tumbled, spherical, and egg shaped, can be utilized to assist in the manifestation of seed wishes, dream weavings, blessings of all kinds, and prosperity empowerments. The vibrational resonance of crystals and stones interacts with the vibratory resonances of mind, body, and spirit in a wholesome way that facilitates necessary adjustments by speeding up, slowing down, or changing and modulating the tonal qualities of personal colorband frequencies. The Laying On of Stones, is a healing technique where different colored crystals and stones are placed on the major chakra points and other parts of the body. Significant energy shifts, such as emotional release, transformative cleansing, and traumatic clearing, during the Laying On of Stones often result from the infusion of both white light and the color and frequencies necessary for healing. The purity of white light comes from the ability to hold all discernible wavelengths. Focalization or non-focalization on certain colorbands produces colors. In technical parlance, some of the wavelengths of light are emitted while others are absorbed, usually through atomic elemental bonding with transitional metals such as iron (reds and yellows) and copper (blues and greens).
