Christianity originated in the heart of the Trinity whose divine nature is love. Divine Love had the urge to create, to multiply love, to share itself, so the Godhead created others. Jesus Christ's life and teachings are in themselves a devotion to this Sacred Heart of the Trinity. As God made Man, Jesus Christ's intimate knowledge of Divine Love is epitomized by his own compassionate, loving heart, as well as, his whole emotional and moral life, and his sentiments and virtues. The Trinity was the unified Divine Godhead consists of three coeternal, coequal persons, the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son. Each of these three aspects is totally distinct from the others. During Pentecost Fifty days after the Resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit descended upon his disciples, infusing them with the inner knowing of the true identity of Jesus as the Christ and the real nature of the Trinity. Afterwards they were filled with the fiery inspiration they needed to go forth and teach all nations. Divine Love is made manifest through the process of Salvation, according to scriptures, means liberation of the individual or humanity from the consequences of sin, suffering or evil. Through spiritual strength garnered from good works, as well as, the establishment of truth through reason - ignorance, error, and concupiscence are overcome.
From the gospels we do know that for the most part he
preferred to give his sermons outdoors in the Natural World like the sermon on
the mount, and, that he was a benevolent, loving man of peace who believed in
the diversity and equality of all humans, even sinners who had fallen into bad
ways.
From the parables of Christ we know that he taught his disciples to be loving, tolerant, kind-hearted and merciful. He taught them not to cast stones at others unless they themselves where free from all blemish and sin. He taught them to do until others as they would have others do unto them. He taught them to be good Samaritans. He taught them to treat their neighbors they way they would like others to treat them. He taught them to be compassionate by feeding the hungry and healing the sick. He taught them to have faith in the goodness of the underlying fabric of Creation. He taught them how to cast out demons and how to put Satan behind them. He taught them about angels and how to pray. Jesus Christ began his Sermon of the Mount with the Beatitudes which were filled with the patina of Divine Love. These eight sacred blessings for Christians to offset prior curses.
These poetic parallelisms of
Christianity are: "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven; Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land; Blessed are they
who mourn: for they shall be comforted; Blessed are they that hunger and thirst
after justice: for they shall have their fill; Blessed are the merciful: for
they shall obtain mercy; Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God;
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God;
Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice's sake, for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven".
